Features of ECOUNT's Production Management Program
When you manage production with ECOUNT
The types and quantities of raw/sub materials and semi-finished products required for production
are organized using the BOM (Bill of Materials), and all production management tasks are carried out based on the created BOM.
There is no issue even if different types of raw/sub materials are used for a single product.
Because you can register multiple BOMs, it is possible to manage all scenarios.
With ECOUNT, simply enter the production item.
Other tasks such as inventory adjustment for each process, quantity, job orders, cost and profit are automatically handled by ECOUNT.
Inventory Adjustment Management for each Process
Inventory is adjusted automatically for each process.
Based on the BOM, the quantity of raw/sub materials used in production decreases, while the quantity of finished products increases.
In other words, inventory transactions related to production are reflected immediately,
allowing you to check all histories of where and when materials were used, and where they were moved to and from.
All inventory transaction histories for each item can be easily viewed in report format through the convenient search function within the ERP.
In addition, you can easily check the items produced and consumed during a certain period by product, making it easy to manage production performance.
Automatic Generation of Job Order
Job orders including detailed information on the raw/sub materials required for the production item are automatically generated.
The created job orders can be immediately sent to the person in charge via email or fax,
and you can add or modify information to match your company’s job order format.
When producing or ordering, you can retrieve the entered job order details, enabling more accurate task processing.
Furthermore, you can easily compare the instructed job details with the actual production results to monitor production progress,
and view the difference between the expected consumption quantity calculated based on the BOM and the actual consumption quantity in report format.
Automatic Cost and Profit Calculation
The cost is automatically calculated based on the unit price of the raw/sub materials used in the product.
The calculated cost can be compared with sales records to determine the profit amount and profit rate by item and by customer,
and you can check the difference between the average cost measured for each item and the actual production cost.
As accurate costs can be identified without using complex formulas or calculators, you can manage the overall production process, such as identifying products that need cost reduction and understanding the reasons for lack of profit through reports.
Outsourced Production Management
You can easily manage the production progress and inventory quantity by registering outsourced factories.
If you assign a separate ID to the outsourcing company, the person in charge at the outsourcing company can directly record production and issue details,
and your company's manager can immediately check the recorded work details in report format.
In addition, you can enter the outsourcing costs incurred during the production process by item, and the entered outsourcing costs can be processed directly in accounting.
Defective Product Handling
You can manage defective products that occur during the production process.
When you record details of defective products, the quantity is automatically reduced according to the handling method, maintaining accurate inventory quantities.
You can register the most frequent defects as distinct types to specify issues on items and generate a report for determining the defect rate.
Quality Control
You can register your company's quality inspection items.
Based on the registered quality inspection items, you can record whether each item meets quality standards,
and inventory processing can be performed according to whether the item is qualified or unqualified. When purchase or production records are created,
you can set it so that quality inspections are automatically requested, ensuring accurate inspections without missing any items.
As such, since the ECOUNT Production Management Program manages production records based on the registered BOM,
it is more convenient and accurate to manage production flow and inventory quantities than using Excel or simple programs.
